'No desire to study': Kota student leaves home
Rajendra Meena, a 19-year-old student from Bamanwas in Rajasthan has reportedly embarked on a self-imposed exile for five years as he did not want to continue his studies. The student, who was preparing for the NEET medical entrance exam in Kota at the time of his disappearance, informed his parents of his decision via text message. The message read, "I am leaving home and I do not wish to further my education. Please tell mother not to worry about me."

He also assured his parents that he will "definitely call once a year." Upon receiving the unexpected message from his son, Jagdish Meena, Rajendra's father, immediately filed a missing person report. According to Jagdish, Rajendra disappeared on May 6 and was last seen leaving his rented accommodation in Kota around 1:30pm. His whereabouts remain unknown at this time, but authorities have launched a search effort to locate him.
NEET aspirant goes missing from Kota
Just a week before this incident, a 20-year-old NEET aspirant also went missing from Rajasthan's Kota, making it the fourth such case of coaching students' disappearance since January. Tripti Singh from Uttar Pradesh had been missing for over a week (8 days) before anyone noticed her disappearance. On April 21, she left her PG to appear for a test but never returned. Her mobile phone was also switched off.
