#KeralaReliefFund: Saibaba Temple Trust to donate Rs. 5 crore
Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust (SSST) in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra today decided to contribute Rs. 5cr towards the relief work in flood-hit Kerala. "The SSST has decided to contribute Rs. 5cr to help the people of flood-affected Kerala. After obtaining permission from Maharashtra government, a cheque would be handed over to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis," Dr. Suresh Haware, Chairman of the Trust, said.
Heavy rains, floods claimed 231 lives in Kerala
Heavy rains and consequent floods have claimed 231 lives in Kerala since August 8, besides causing an estimated loss of Rs. 20,000cr. Around 13 lakh people are currently put up in relief camps as the state is facing its worst flood in 100 years.
