Searching for groom, Kerala woman asks Mark Zuckerberg for help
Moving away from matrimonial websites, Kerala woman Jyothi KG took to Facebook in search of a suitable groom for herself. The 28-year-old even asked Mark Zuckerberg to make #FacebookMatrimony a reality. Whether she'll find a groom or not, only time will tell. But Jyothi's unique way of groom searching has already made her a social media star, and her comment section is exploding.
Caste, horoscope, no bar, writes Jyothi in viral post
Jyothi wrote, "I am unmarried. If my friends know anyone, do let me know. I have no demands. Both caste and horoscope don't matter. My parents aren't alive. I have studied B.SC in Fashion Designing. I am 28 years old. My brother is working in Mumbai and my sister is a student." Her post got over 6,000 shares and 11,000 reactions on Facebook.
Jyothi wants Zuckerberg to start Facebook matrimony
In another post directed towards Zuckerberg, Jyothi appealed the founder to start 'Facebook Matrimony', to help those looking for partners. "Mr. Mark please consider my request and give a facility to select grooms and brides with the search option in the country, state, district, name, gender, education, age, profession and religion base," the post read.
Did the Facebook post help? Hell yeah!
Jyothi's Facebook post did wonders for her as she was flooded with marriage proposals in her comment section. Many men posted their pictures, some posted photos of their friends, meaning the step paid off. And looks like even Zuckerberg listened. He announced Facebook will be launching a dating app for those seeking 'real long-term relationships - not just hookups'. What an idea, Jyothi!
