Kerala: Father and several others gangraped minor; 13 arrested
In a ghastly incident, a minor in Kerala's Kunnur was raped by several men, including her own father, for days. The police have arrested 13 in this connection. The 16-year-old victim was raped and assaulted several times, police said. Her mother claimed she had no idea what her daughter was going through. Police suspect more men, mostly her father's friends, could be involved.
Minor was raped by father many times
The victim, a Class 10 student, said her father raped her numerous times in the last two years. In November, she was raped by at least four men, all in their 30s. One of the men befriended the girl on social media, police believe. The other three were his friends. Initially, the girl named only two men, but police learned there were others too.

The girl's father has been arrested. A former member of CPM's youth wing Democratic Youth Federation of India, identified as Nikhil, was nabbed too. "Initially, the minor had named just two men. From that, based on mobile tower locations and further probe based on evidence, we have zeroed down to 19 suspects," another police officer told NDTV.
Vicitm's brother spoke to her, informed their mother
G Siva Vikram, Kannur District Police Chief said the victim's mother filed a complaint on Monday. She came to know about the inhumane incident from her son. The boy had spoken to his sister. "The brother also alleged that he was blackmailed with videos involving his sister," Vikram said. While recording her statement the victim spoke about another girl who is being harassed. Police are continuing the investigation.
