Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy today announced the JD(S)-Congress government's decision to cut petrol and diesel prices by Rs. 2/liter.

The announcement comes in wake of political pressure building against Kumaraswamy after Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal governments reduced fuel prices.

AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu had cut taxes on fuel by Rs. 2 and WB CM Mamata Banerjee by Re. 1.
