Good-news-of-the-day: Karnataka cop saves electrocuted monkey, adopts it
Yashodha, an Assistant Sub-Inspector from Karnataka's Kalaburagi, has become favorite of many on social media after she rescued and adopted a monkey. The monkey was electrocuted and fell to the ground. While people gathered around the poor creature but had inhibitions to help him, Yashodha stepped up. She catered to the monkey and later took it home.
While others watched, Yashodha came to monkey's rescue
Yashodha said she was going to Yellamma Temple when she saw a huge crowd on road. She found a monkey lying on the ground after receiving a shock. Its eyes were bleeding, the cop revealed. She then picked the primate up and took it to her home. After giving it first aid, Yashodha took it to the veterinary hospital. She added nursing the monkey gave her peace.
