Elephant fear leads to tragic snakebite incident
Following the incident, they were rushed to a sorcerer around 1:00am, where two succumbed to their injuries. The third child was then taken to a quack but unfortunately died en route. Due to the ongoing elephant menace, villagers have been forced to seek safer sleeping arrangements. Some locals have even resorted to sleeping on school rooftops or huddling together at one location within the village for safety. The large mammals often venture into human habitats in search of food.
