IIT-Roorkee announces JEE Advanced 2019 date: Here are the details

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, which is conducting the JEE Advanced 2019, has released the schedule for the exam, which is the doorway to all the 23 IITs in the country.
The exam, a computer-based test, will be conducted at various centers in India and abroad. It has been postponed due to the last phase of 2019 General Elections.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is the gateway to the country's top engineering colleges. JEE is conducted in two parts: JEE Main and JEE Advanced.
On its official website, IIT-Roorkee has announced that JEE Advanced will be held on May 27 this year in two shifts.
Around 2 lakh top All India Rank holders in JEE Main get to sit for JEE Advanced every year.

An announcement made on the official JEE Advanced website reads, "The examination will be held in India and abroad, on May 27, 2019 (Monday), in the following two shifts: Paper 1 (09:00 to 12:00 IST) and Paper 2 (14:00 to 17:00 IST)."

Previous papers, opening/closing ranks available on official website
The registrations for JEE Advanced will begin after the results of JEE Main are announced.
For all the other information, including registration dates and admit card details, the candidates are suggested to keep checking the official website, jeeadv.ac.in
Previous year papers of JEE Advanced from 2007 to 2018 are available on the website along with the closing and opening ranks from 2015 to 2018.
Information
JEE Main (April) admit cards now available
This year, JEE Main is being conducted twice: January and April. The admit cards for JEE Main to be held from April 7 to 12 have been released on its official website to download, along with a tool to locate candidates' center for the exam.
