Jamshedpur: Shop-owner stabs customer for paying Rs.15-bill with Rs.500 note
What's the story
Not having change on him nearly turned out fatal for a Jamshedpur man.
Bhagat Mahato bought a bar of chocolate costing Rs. 15 from Dwarika Singh, a betel nut shop owner, for his children.
But since he didn't have change, he gave Singh a Rs. 500 note.
An enraged Singh ended up stabbing Mahato, who is now recuperating in hospital.

What happened?
Mahato, an autorickshaw driver, visited Singh's shop at 6:30am to buy chocolate. Since he had only Rs. 10 and Rs. 500, he gave Singh the latter.
When Singh refused, Mahato offered other solutions: he could pay the remaining Rs. 5 later, he said, or if Singh wanted, he would return the chocolate.
But Singh started abusing him for disturbing work at an auspicious time.
