"My deepest condolences to the family of martyred HC Vishal Kumar and prayers for the early recovery of the injured. Our security forces will give a befitting reply to perpetrators of despicable attacks," Sinha said.
Several incidents of civilian killing reported
Monday's attacks were followed by an attack on two non-local laborers from Punjab who were shot at by terrorists in Pulwama's Nowpora area. Several incidents of civilian killings and attacks on policemen and politicians have been reported in the Kashmir valley for the last few months. As per police, militants from The Resistance Front have been carrying out targeted killings to disrupt peace.
