Mehbooba meets J&K-Governor, discusses need for political-parties to join hands
Former Jammu and Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti today called on Governor NN Vohra in Srinagar and discussed important issues related to the growth and development of the state. An official spokesman said Mehbooba referred to issues relating to the growth and development of J&K, which could not be finalized during her tenure and urged the governor to consider the same for early decisions.
Governor discusses need to restore normalcy in the valley
The spokesman said the Governor discussed with the former CM the need for all political parties and social organizations to join hands to regain the trust of the youth and restore normalcy in the Valley. This was the first meeting between the two since Mehbooba resigned as chief minister on Tuesday after the BJP decided to pull out of its alliance with the PDP.
