Mumbai Police book Israeli man after girlfriend suffocates during sex

Mumbai Police have booked a 23-year-old Israeli national in the case of his girlfriend's death during sex in a city hotel last year.
The incident had happened last March, but police only recently received forensic confirmation that the 20-year-old woman, another Israeli national, had died of suffocation.
A case has now been registered against Oriron Yakov, who's currently in Israel.

Yakov alerted hotel staff after his girlfriend fell unconscious
Yakov and his girlfriend were visiting Mumbai last March and were staying at a hotel in Colaba, police said.
But a fun encounter turned traumatic when Yakov's girlfriend suffocated during sex; he had allegedly applied excessive pressure on her neck.
He immediately informed the hotel staff, who called police.
The woman was rushed to hospital, but she was declared dead.

At that time, since police didn't have the exact reason of her death, a case of accidental death had been lodged. Her family members also took away her body to Israel. Now police have booked Yakov for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
