What's the iPhone X about?
The iPhone X was unveiled on September 12. The stainless steel and glass device comes with an edge-to-edge 5.8-inch OLED display with 2436x1125 pixel resolution. There is no home button. The side button will launch Siri. The Truedepth camera system will work even in the dark. It comes with FaceID, a major leap in technology, which will work on a real-time basis.
How much will it cost in India?
The 64GB variant is priced Rs. 89,000, and the 256GB variant, Rs. 1,02,000. For fast charging, you will have to shell out an additional Rs. 7,000 for a 29W USB-C charger and cable. Accessories like silicone and leather cases will be available starting Rs. 3,500. Note: Apple is releasing only 2-3mn units for now.
In reality, iPhone X had hit stores three days earlier
However, the iPhone X unofficially hit Indian markets three days before launch. What's more, many assured delivery on November 3 itself. No seller was willing to talk on record, Gadgets Now reported. But most were charging Rs. 5,000 as pre-booking amount. They didn't provide any offers though. If you can wait a little longer, e-commerce portals and others might offer discounts sometime later.
