Recently, IndiGo reintroduced fuel surcharge due to depreciating Indian rupee
Citing rising aircraft fuel prices and depreciating Indian rupee, IndiGo reintroduced fuel surcharge on domestic flights. It levied Rs. 200 on routes under 1,000 km and Rs. 400 on those more than 1,000km. The fuel prices in Jet have risen by 40% from January 2017 till last month.
