India slams Pakistan over 'vulgar display' of injured IAF pilot
After confirming that a missing Indian Air Force pilot was in Pakistan's custody, the Indian Government has strongly objected to the "vulgar display" of the injured personnel by Pakistan. "It was made clear that Pakistan would be well advised to ensure that no harm comes to the Indian defense personnel in its custody. India also expects his immediate and safe return," the External Affairs Ministry was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
India protests unprovoked act of aggression by Pakistan
Amid the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the former summoned the Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan on Wednesday evening. India strongly protested the "unprovoked act of aggression" by the Pakistani Air Force. Earlier, MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, "Pakistan has responded to India's yesterday strike (on Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camps in Pakistan) by using air force to target military installation on Indian side."

Violation of the Indian air space by Pakistan: MEA
The Ministry of External Affairs has issued a statement on the matter. It said, "The Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan was summoned this afternoon by MEA to lodge a strong protest at the unprovoked act of aggression by Pakistan against India earlier today, including by violation of the Indian air space by Pakistan Air Force and targeting of Indian military posts."
Pakistan's actions 'in contrast to India's non-military anti-terror pre-emptive strike'
The MEA said Pakistan's attack on Indian military posts was "in contrast to India's non-military anti-terror pre-emptive strike at a JeM terrorist camp in Balakot" on 26 February. "It is unfortunate that instead of fulfilling its international obligation and bilateral commitment to take credible action against terrorist entities and individuals operating from its soil, Pakistan has acted with aggression against India," it added.
'India reserves right to take action to protect national security'
"It was clearly conveyed that India reserves the right to take firm and decisive action to protect its national security, sovereignty and territorial integrity against any act of aggression or cross-border terrorism," said the MEA's statement.
'India expects Pakistan to take immediate, verifiable action against terrorism'
India expressed regret at Pakistan's "continuing denial" of existence of "terrorist infrastructure" in its territory. "A dossier was handed over to Pakistan side with specific details of JeM complicity in Pulwama terror attack and the presence of JeM terror camps and its leadership in Pakistan... India expects Pakistan to take immediate and verifiable action against terrorism emanating from territories under its control," MEA said.
