IIM-Indore placements: Highest package touches Rs. 63.45LPA
IIM-Indore has completed its placement session for the 2016-18 batches. Over 200 firms offered jobs to 624 students. The highest international package was Rs. 63.45L per annum (LPA), while the highest domestic package was Rs. 33.04LPA. The average was Rs. 18.17LPA, a 12% increase from last year. For Integrated Program in Management (IPM) students, the average CTC was Rs. 15.16LPA, a whopping 21% increase.
40% increase in pre-placement offers
This time, IIM-Indore had the largest batch across all IIMs. The 624 students that got offers include 443 PGP participants, 68 PGP Mumbai participants and 113 participants from the 5-year IPM. The number of pre-placement offers has also increased by a whopping 40% to 147.
These were the top recruiters this time
This time, 27% offers came from finance companies, including Axis Bank, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs. The next was consulting with 24% offers, including from Accenture Strategy, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers etc. Sales and Marketing continued to be another preferred domain, with recruiters like Asian Paints, Dabur, and Godrej & Boyce. In technology, Accenture, Google, IBM, Infosys and others made offers.
