J&K: Former SPO injured in suspected IED blast
What's the story
A former Special Police Officer of Jammu and Kashmir, Raj Kumar was injured when an explosive detonated in his car.
He sustained minor injuries in the incident which took place at the mini bus stand in Kishtwar around 7:30 am. Police said it could be an IED or a crude bomb.
They said investigations were underway to find the perpetrators of the act.

Kishtwar deputy commissioner, Ghulam Nabi Balwan said, "We can't say as of now that the explosive was a timer device or remote operated but the victim escaped with minor injuries because it went off the moment he opened driver's door to get inside the car."

Raj Kumar was a former Naib sarpanch of BJP before joining Congress and also an RTI activist.
In a similar incident a few days ago, LeT terrorists attacked Tanta police post in Doda district killing an SPO Mohammed Younis and injuring his colleague.
Police said they had arrested 5 LeT members responsible for the attack and solved the case.
