ICSE, ISC declare results of Class 10, 12 board exams
The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) declared the results of its Class 10 and 12 board examinations this year at 3pm today. Candidates can visit their official website to check out their results. The ICSE Class 10 exams were held from February 26 till March 28, while the ISC Class 12 exams were conducted from February 7 to April 2.
The 2018 results in figures
This year, a whopping 98.5% students cleared the ICSE, while the pass percentage for Class 12 was 96.21%. The Southern Region recorded the highest pass percentage of Class 10 with 99.69%. Following at a close second was the Western Region at 99.67%.

To check results, visit www.cisce.org and click on 'Results 2018.' Choose ICSE or ISC as the case may be. In the next page, enter your Unique ID, Index No and the captcha code to view and download your results. You can also get your results through SMS. For Class 10, SMS ICSE to 09248082883. For Class 12, SMS ISC to 09248082883.
CICSE has relaxed passing criteria for both classes
This year, a total of 2.66L students appeared for the CISCE board exams. Out of these, 1.84L appeared the Class 10 exam. The board has relaxed passing criteria this time. Previously, Class 12 students needed to score 40%, and Class 10 35%, to pass. Now, Class 12 candidates will have to score only 35%, while for Class 10, it is 33%.
