IAF pilot marries lover; in-laws thrash his father, force-feed excreta
In a horrid crime, the father of an Indian Air Force pilot was thrashed, fed human excreta and was urinated on by the relatives of his daughter-in-law in Khursipar, Chhattisgarh. Reportedly, the IAF pilot had recently eloped with his lover and the two married on October 10. However, the father of the bride opposed the marriage. Here's what happened.
Pilot's father ambushed near Khursipar; thrashed mercilessly
According to The Times of India, the victim, 55, alleged that he was ambushed and dragged out of his car near Khursipar by his daughter-in-law's father and his accomplices. The accused allegedly thrashed him, force-fed him feces, urinated on him and blackened his face with soot before leaving him unconscious. Desiblitz identified the victim as Yograj and his daughter-in-law's father as Bansal Lal.
Accused booked after victim's complaint
Upon regaining consciousness, Yograj called his brother and the two filed a police complaint. In his complaint, Yograj alleged that the accused threatened him with dire consequences if he complained to the police and demanded their daughter be returned within 24 hours. The accused were booked for voluntarily causing hurt, wrongful restraint, criminal intimidation and assault with the intent to dishonor a person.
Case registered 9 hours after initial complaint
According to Desiblitz, the police registered a case nine hours after the initial complaint as Lal is an influential person in the region. Both Lal and Yograj reportedly own factories. Officers told Yograj that a hospital will collect samples from him to verify some of the allegations. The case has now been transferred to Raipur police. No arrests were made till Saturday, TOI reported.
Lal didn't approve of pilot's marriage to daughter
Reportedly, the IAF pilot is posted in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, and had married Lal's daughter at Arya Samaj in the city on October 10. Both the husband and the wife hail from Chhattisgarh and are from the same community. However, Lal was not informed about the marriage beforehand. When he found out, he did not approve and decided to take revenge against Yograj.
