Sravani was at Bhargavi's house to study together.
The two girls were studying before they suddenly jumped
According to police, Sravani, daughter of a scientist, went to Saroornagar to visit Bhargavi, daughter of a construction businessman, in the evening. Both studied in Akshara International, Byramalguda, and planned to study together. The exact sequence of events isn't known as there was nobody in the flat, police said. But around 6:30pm, they jumped off from the balcony, one after the other.
Police suspect suicide, but case of suspicious death lodged
