On Saturday morning, Sai and Kavya were headed to the exam center they were both supposed to appear for when the former tried overtaking a private bus from the left near Nalgonda crossroads, The News Minute reported. While a parked autorickshaw ahead might have forced Sai to slam the brakes, a patch of loose gravel on the road caused the two-wheeler to skid.

Both Sai and Kavya, who were not wearing helmets, fell from the bike. Unfortunately, Kavya's head fell directly under the rear wheel of the private bus her brother tried to overtake. The bus driver stopped immediately, however, Kavya died on the spot.
