But do you know you can make your own WhatsApp stickers? That's right! Here are the steps.
Some things to keep in mind before starting
First off, you need to understand that only Android users can create customized WhatsApp stickers using the phone pictures. Sorry, iPhone users! Also, you need to download the latest version of WhatsApp, i.e., WhatsApp 2.18. Make sure your Internet connectivity is smooth, as otherwise the fun would be ruined. Keep some images from your gallery ready that you want to personalize on a sticker.
Download sticker making app, create 'new sticker pack' option
The first thing you should do is download any sticker-making app from Google Play Store such as Sticker maker, Stickify, etc. After downloading the app, open it and tap on 'Create new sticker pack' option. Fill the name you want to give to your sticker in 'Sticker pack name' and take pride in crediting yourself as you write your name in 'Sticker author name'.
Personalization: From your gallery add images you want to use
Now, tap on 'Create' button. Choose your sticker pack (you just created) from the list, and tap on the empty boxes to add images. Now, you'll have to add images from your gallery or click a new picture. After selecting/taking a new picture, you'll be redirected to an editing section within the app. Crop the image howsoever you want it and then save it.
You need to create minimum 3 stickers for one sticker-pack
Remember, you have to create minimum 3 stickers for one sticker pack, as WhatsApp doesn't allow sticker packs with less than 3 stickers. After you are done making stickers, tap on 'Add to WhatsApp' option, and click on the confirmation message. Now, open any WhatsApp chat window, tap on the smiley icon, and click on 'Stickers' option. Look for your sticker pack and enjoy.
Can't add more stickers to one pack after WhatsApp addition
