Fight over drugs: Boy killed in front of his mother
A 16-year-old boy, allegedly addicted to inhaling adhesive-based sulochen solution, has been stabbed to death by his friends in Delhi's Kabir Nagar. Police said the boy was murdered in front of his mother due to a fight over sharing of drugs. The alleged killer is a 17-year-old while another adult friend egged him on to kill the victim; both of them were held.
The boy could not be saved
"While the juvenile thrashed the victim, their adult friend instigated the assault and ensured no one could save the boy," said Milind Dumbere, DCP (north-west). He was taken to Hindu Rao Hospital but declared brought dead.
