Himachal Pradesh: Dalhousie receives 5cm snowfall, records sub-zero temperature

Popular tourist destination Dalhousie witnessed sub-zero temperatures today following fresh snowfall in the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh, while other parts of the state saw light rain, the Meteorological (Met) Department said.
The minimum temperature in Dalhousie, Chamba district, was recorded at minus 0.1 degree Celsius as it received 5cm snowfall from yesterday 5.30pm to today 8.30am, the Met center in Shimla said.

Keylong records -8 degree C, continues to be the coldest
Tribal district Lahaul and Spiti's administrative centre Keylong and Kinnaur's Kalpa witnessed 15cm and 6cm snowfall respectively.
Keylong continued to be the coldest place, recording a low of minus 8 degree Celsius, while minimum temperature in Kalpa was minus 2 degree Celsius.
The minimum temperature in both Manali and Kufri was recorded at 1 degree Celsius, while that in Shimla was 5.5 degree Celsius.
