Meanwhile, floods in Kerala have brought lives to a standstill

In Kerala, Saturday brought some relief after constant heavy downpour in the last few days, but authorities remained on high alert.

In three days, the state witnessed 25 landslides.

About 60,600 people were shifted to relief camps by Saturday. Reportedly, about 1,500 houses have been damaged in floods.

After the water receded in areas like Palakkad and Wayanad, life is crawling back to normalcy.
