    What's the story

A Vice President of HDFC Bank has reportedly gone missing under mysterious circumstances from his office in Kamala Mills, Mumbai.

Siddharth Kiran Sanghvi left his home on Wednesday at 8:30 AM, the usual time, but didn't return. A day later his car was found in Navi Mumbai, and the seat had blood stains on it.

The police have registered a missing person's complaint.

    Details

Sanghvi left his office at 7:30 PM, police said

A police officer said Sanghvi left his office at 7:30 PM, and it was captured on CCTV camera.

"We could see him walking out of his branch but we could not locate his car while leaving the Kamala Mill premises on any CCTV camera," he added.

His phone was switched off before he left office. His last known location was Kamala Mills.

    Car found

Sanghvi's car was found abandoned in Airoli

Further, the officer revealed Sanghvi's wife complained to the police on Wednesday itself, when she couldn't reach him. The couple has a four-year-old son.

"We had sent wireless messages to all police stations across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane," he said.

On Thursday evening, his Maruti Ignis car was found abandoned near Sector 11 in Airoli.
