Haryana: District-level volleyball player shot-dead by unidentified men in Hisar
A district-level volleyball player was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Siswal village of Haryana's Hisar district. The incident took place at about 10 pm yesterday when 25-year-old Kuldeep was returning to his house on a bike from community center's volleyball ground, police said. While returning, some unidentified gunmen came and shot Kuldeep several times, killing him on the spot, they said. Here's more.
Accused managed to flee from the spot
Kuldeep's kin said the assailants managed to flee as there was no street light there. After receiving information, the police and forensic team reached the spot and started investigations. The police have sent the body to Civil Hospital, Hisar for postmortem examination. They said a case has been registered in connection with the incident and further investigations were under progress.
