Haryana: Four persons, including 7-month-old baby, burnt alive in accident
In a tragic incident, four members of a Delhi-based family, including a seven-month-old girl, were charred to death after being trapped in their car that caught fire after a collision in Haryana's Karnal. SHO of Karnal's Taraori police station, Janak Raj, said the car -going towards Delhi- jumped a divider on the highway, colliding with a truck coming from the opposite direction. Here's more.
Fire tender rushed to spot, but it was too late
The incident took place in the early hours near Haryana's Shamgarh village, police officials said. The car caught fire after the collision. The occupants, including a baby, who got trapped in it, were burnt to death, Janak Raj said. After the police received the information, a fire tender was rushed to the site, but the car was completely charred by then, he added.
