Delhi: 'Harassed' on way to school, 15-year-old girl commits suicide
A 15-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her residence in Outer Delhi. Cops said that she killed herself as she was being constantly "harassed" by a man on her way to school and tuition classes. The girl died on September 19 and a case was registered yesterday on the basis of a complaint filed by her parents.
Accused threatened to beat up girl's younger brother: Police
In his complaint, the girl's father has alleged that his daughter, a Class X student of a government school, was being "mentally harassed" by a local man who was apparently married. The accused even threatened the Sultanpuri resident of thrashing her brother if she didn't comply. Fed up with all that, she finally took her life. Further investigation is on, cops said.
