Government's initiatives to familiarize consumers, traders on GST
To educate and impart information regarding GST, the government has taken a number of steps. It started a series of GST "masterclasses" which addressed queries and clarified any doubts regarding the new tax regime. These materclasses are an hour-long program which are held for six days a week. They are telecasted live on Doordarshan along with live webcasts. Revenue Secretary Adhia conducts these classes.
