Ghaziabad: 25-year-old commits suicide after being refused drinking money
In a bizarre incident, a 25-year-old man from Ghaziabad allegedly took his own life after he was refused money to buy alcohol and party with his friends. The incident took place on Tuesday, and the man, reportedly, killed himself by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his room. Here are the details.

The incident took place in the Razapur area of Ghaziabad that falls under the Kavi Nagar police station. Cops identified the deceased as one Anil Singh who, his family said, had been a great student and had completed his graduation from a private educational institute in Ghaziabad. However, according to his family, Anil started drinking around two-three years ago, and fell into bad company.
The incident that led to Anil committing suicide
On the fateful evening of the tragedy, Anil came back home at around 5pm and demanded Rs. 5,000 from his father so he could buy alcohol and throw a party for his friends. However, after his father refused, Anil started speaking very rudely, which led to a heated argument between the two. Police said Anil threatened to commit suicide, and retired to his room.
Anil had attempted suicide twice before; this time, he succeeded
Preliminary investigations revealed that Anil had committed suicide around 7pm on Tuesday. Notably, Anil had attempted suicide twice before. The moment his family found his body, they informed the police who reached the spot immediately. However, his family, who have been living in the Razapur area for 20 years, refused a post-mortem, and took his body to the hospital.
