Viral-video shows men gang-raping woman in Bihar, police begin probe
A video of a group of men raping a woman has gone viral, forcing the police to launch an operation to nab the suspects in Bihar's Gaya. SPs of 11 districts have been ordered to help Gaya police by the Patna HQ. The men spoke a language native to Magadh region, that includes Gaya and surrounding districts. It's still unclear when the rape happened.
Woman kept begging, lecherous men continue torture
The video, which was widely circulated on WhatsApp, showed the woman pleading to the men to let her go. Turning a deaf ear to her requests, the four men kept laughing and raping her. Till now, nobody has come forward to file a complaint. On May 11, a 'Zero FIR' was lodged in the Kotwali police station, said Patna Zone IG Nayyar Hasnain Khan.
Photos of four suspects circulated, police seek help from locals
The photographs of suspects have been sent to all station house officers, chowkidars and people's representatives. The police have also asked locals to identify the culprits. The CID is reportedly helping Gaya police. A few days ago, a video of men disrobing a minor in Jehanabad had gone viral after which all 13 culprits, including eight minors, were arrested.
