UP: Gadkari to lay foundation-stone for Rs. 1,224cr worth projects
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari today will lay the foundation stone for Rs. 1,224cr highway projects in Uttar Pradesh. The projects include widening and improvement of Ramjanaki Marg (NH-227A) from Ayodhya Cantt to Rampur (55km) for Rs. 315cr, and Rampur to Sikriganj (35km) for Rs. 250cr. He will also lay the foundation stone for development of 354km-long Faizabad-Manjhighat, a section of River Ghaghra (National Waterway-40).
Gadkari will also lay foundation for 14km-long Basti Ring Road
Besides these, the minister will also lay the foundation stone for the 14km-long Basti Ring Road Phase 1, to be constructed at Rs. 450cr, and the widening and improvement of 35km-long Badhni-Shoratganj section of NH-730, to be constructed at cost of Rs. 200cr. The functions for the same will be held at Kisan College, Civil Lines, Basti and Shivpati Degree College Hostel Ground, Chhatehri.
