Veteran Congress leader, former Kerala Minister CN Balakrishnan passes away

Veteran Congress leader and former Kerala Minister C N Balakrishnan died at a private hospital in Kochi late night yesterday. The 84-year-old former Cooperation Minister, Balakrishnan was undergoing treatment for pneumonia in Kochi. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. CM Pinarayi Vijayan and Leader of the Opposition in state Assembly Ramesh Chennithala were among those who condoled his death.
