DU's first Open Day Session: Over 1,200 parents, students participate
Over 1,200 parents and students took part on the first day of "Open Day" session organized by the Delhi University to clear doubts on various courses, colleges and admission process. After a presentation by officials, the participants were allowed to ask questions related to new and existing courses. The university will hold the sessions till May 29 (except Sunday) at Conference Centre. Here's more.
ABVP sets up help desk near the Arts Faculty
Meanwhile, the ABVP set up help desk near the Arts Faculty, and the NSUI and the AISA said their desks will be open from tomorrow near the Arts Faculty and the Vishwavidyalaya metro stations. "Apart from this, our volunteers will be working at the college level too to educate parents and students about the entire process," the NSUI said in a statement.
The university will hold the sessions in two shifts
"The crowd was expected and there were over 1,200 parents and students," Deputy Dean of Students' Welfare Gurpreet Singh Tuteja said. The university will hold the sessions on the North Campus in two shifts - 10-11.30am and 12-1.30pm.
