Baby boy born to Shoaib Malik, Sania Mirza
What's the story
On Monday morning, a baby boy was born to Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, the latter announced on Twitter.
The couple, who married in 2010, had announced Mirza's pregnancy in April this year.
With the child now born, the tennis star is aiming to be back on the court for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Reacting to the announcement, many congratulated the couple.
Filmmaker Farah Khan was among the first people to break the news of the birth on Instagram, and blessed the newborn.
Similarly, Sania's sister Anam Mirza also took to Instagram, and expressed her happiness at the birth of a boy.
Meanwhile, Malik's agent tweeted that the cricketer was "over the moon" with joy.
