Statues at Ludhiana's wax museum leave Twitter in splits
What's the story
A wax museum in Ludhiana has stirred laughs on social media owing to the statues' minimal resemblance to personalities.
Called 'Prabhakar's Wax Museum,' the precincts boasts of 52 wax figurines of famous personalities.
But there's almost no resemblance of the figures to the personalities they claim to represent, sending Twitter users laughing after ANI tweeted pictures from the museum.

Facing many challenges, Prabhakar decided to open own wax museum
Prabhakar visited Madame Tussauds in 2000 and decided to open one for himself. The museum was set up in 2005.
Speaking about his work, Prabhakar said, "At Tussauds, they have access to celebrities and they make their statues from measurements. But I make these statues from a single dimension, which is a challenging job. The museum is my contribution with my limited resources."
All in good humour
Prabhakar may have worked hard, but Twitter users are laughing
Guessing who is the celebrity after seeing the wax figures became a game Twitterati enjoyed playing.
Seeing the figure of Mother Teresa, one user quipped, "Rajnath Singh in drag."
Another statue which posed a mystery was of a man in khaki uniform. Twitter users had a hard time understanding who he was, till they figured it was Kapil Sharma.

Classic example of lack of resources, says another Twitter user
Perfect example of "itne mien aisaich milega" -- its like, someone bargained heavily with wax sculptors, and hence the result. https://t.co/M5Lm52Qu8s
