J&K: Explosion at private school in Pulwama injures 12 students
In a shocking incident, an explosion at a private school in Pulwama of Jammu and Kashmir injured 12 students. The incident happened on Wednesday and all the students were rushed to a nearby hospital. Reportedly, someone brought grenade inside school which blew up
Reports claimed all students belonged to class 10 of the Falah-i-Millat school situated at Narbal town of the district. Quoting sources, TimesNow reported someone might have brought a grenade inside the school premises. The students reportedly played with the explosive before it ticked off. Most students suffered minor injuries caused by splinters, said Abdul Rasheed Parra, Medical Superintendent of Pulwama hospital.

Separately, a terrorist was neutralized by security forces in Pulwama
This incident comes close to heels of an encounter in the district in which a terrorist, reportedly belonging to Hizbul Mujahideen, was killed. In the gunfire which lasted for hours on Tuesday, a soldier was martyred while another was injured. Security forces had launched an operation after learning of terrorists' presence in Ratnipora area of south Kashmir.
