Three killed in explosion at cracker unit in TN
Three persons were killed and two others injured in an explosion at a fireworks unit in Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu on Saturday, police said. The incident occurred this morning when workers of the private cracker unit in Kakkivadanpatti were mixing chemicals required for manufacturing fireworks. The explosion took place due to friction. The injured have been admitted to a hospital, police said.
