Five militants killed in encounter in J&K's Kulgam district
Five terrorists were killed today in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district. The gunbattle broke out after the ultras opened fire on a search team of the security forces in the district's Kellem village this morning, an Army official said. 4 CRPF personnel, 8 civilians injured in clashes post encounter
The security forces blasted the house where the militants were holed up. They have also recovered weapons and war-like stores from the encounter site. Clashes between protesters and security forces broke out near the encounter site injuring at least 4 CRPF personnel and 8 civilians. The law enforcement agencies said that they are trying to restore order in the area.
