DU admissions: Fourth cut-off list announced, 0.25-2% drop in humanities
DU announced its fourth cut-off list last night. There has been a drop of 0.25-2% in cut-offs for humanities courses across colleges. A drop of 0.25-0.5% has been recorded in cut-offs in science courses. Students from the science stream can still apply to colleges in the North Campus in courses such as B.Sc (Hons) Botany, B.Sc (Hons) Computer Science and B.Sc (Hons) Physics.
UG admission portal started from May 15
For Humanities students, seats in Sociology, English and Economics are still vacant in some colleges. The varsity threw open its undergraduate admissions portal on May 15. Registrations ended June 7. The first cut-off list was announced on June 19. The total number of male applicants are 144,248, women 134,297 and others 29. According to an official from the university, 278,544 aspirants have made payments.
