DU admissions 2019: Expect first cut-off list on June 28
Delhi University (DU) is done with its registration process, and is now set to roll out the cut-off lists for all its affiliated colleges. The first cut-off list will be released on June 28, followed by four more. As per the data provided by the university, more than 3.6 lakh students registered for various courses at the university via the online portal. Here's more.
Three days will be given for document verification, fee payment
In an official notice, the university has laid out the complete schedule for the next steps of the admission process. All the aspirants will be given three days, excluding Sundays, after the release of a cut-off list for document verification, approval of admission and fee payment. As per media reports, the cut-off lists will be released on the university's official website, du.ac.in, after midnight.

In the schedule released, the university has announced the dates for the five cut-off lists (given below): First cut-off list: June 28 Second cut-off list: July 4 Third cut-off list: July 9 Fourth cut-off list: July 15 Fifth cut-off list: July 20 However, each list will be released depending on the availability of seats after the admissions are done as per the previous list.
Log-on to 'UG Admission Portal' to make online fee payment
Apart from announcing the dates, the notice also said, "The applicant has to log-on to the Undergraduate Admission Portal to make online payment of the fee. This may be done till 15:00 hrs. of the next day of the approval of admission in the portal."
Cut-off might go up by 1% this year
This year, the overall cut-off for DU colleges can see an increase of 1%, as compared to last year's. The spike in 95% scorers in the CBSE Class XII exams is the major reason behind this expected increase. Notably, DU receives maximum registrations from CBSE students, followed by UP Board students, where the number of students with over 90% has increased as well.
St. Stephen's has released its first cut-off for UG courses
Meanwhile, St. Stephen's College released the first cut-off for undergraduate courses on Tuesday. The detailed cut-off for the BA and B.Sc programs is available on the college's official website. Moreover, interviews for all the candidates, who will be selected based on merit, have been scheduled for June 28. The selected students can download the interview call letters from the website after June 26.
19,862 applications were received by St. Stephen's for 400 seats
St. Stephen's College is among the leading colleges under DU, and does not follow the varsity's centralized admission process. That's why, its registration procedure had begun from May 22. This year, the college received 19,862 applications for 400 seats (excluding PWD and Sports categories).
