
Drunk law student runs over woman, chants 'Om Namah Shivay'
What's the story
A woman died and several others were injured in Gujarat's Vadodara on Thursday night after a drunk driver lost control of his car and crashed into two-wheelers.
The driver, identified as Rakshit Ravish Chaurasia, a law student of MS University, was reportedly speeding over 100km/h when he lost control.
A video from the crash site, that has now gone viral, shows the heavily drunk youth coming out of the black car and shouting "another round" before repeating "Om Namah Shivay."

Victim had gone out to buy Holi colors
According to reports, Chaurasia crashed the vehicle into four people, one of whom was a woman named Hemani Patel.
The victim had gone out with her minor daughter to buy Holi colors when the accident happened.
Three people, including the child, were later transported to a local hospital. They are currently undergoing treatment.

Arrest
Both men arrested
Chaurasia has since been arrested.
"A 4-wheeler rammed into a 2-wheeler and one woman died in the accident. The accused driver has been caught. Police are conducting further probe...this is a case of drunk driving," Joint CP Leena Patil said after the arrest.
The second accused in the case, who owns the car and was seen with Chaurasia at the time of the accident, has also been arrested.
He has been identified as Mit Chauhan, a Vadodara resident.
