Delhi govt approves proposal to establish 15 academies of languages
Delhi government approved a proposal today to establish 15 academies of different languages, including international languages, in the national capital. The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said people from various states who spoke different languages were living in Delhi. "Delhi Cabinet has decided to establish 15 academies of different languages," Sisodia said.
Person with disability to get Rs. 2,500 under pension scheme
The Cabinet has also approved a proposal of Social Welfare Department according to which people with disability who get pension wouldn't be categorized under old age pension category after attaining 60 years' age. "Now they won't be categorized under old age pension scheme, rather they will get enhanced amount of Rs. 2,500 under the Disability Pension Scheme," Social Welfare Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam said.
