Temperature rise in north and central India
Daytime temperatures have soared 3 to 6 degrees Celsius above normal in North and Central India.
In Delhi, the mercury is likely to touch 30 degrees Celsius by the end of February.
The minimum temperature may fall to 11 degrees Celsius, while the maximum could go up to 29 degrees Celsius.
The IMD has also predicted shallow fog in the morning with a cloudy sky later.

Delhi's air quality remains in 'poor' category
Delhi's air quality has stayed in the "poor" category for the second day in a row, with an AQI of 250 recorded at 8:00am on February 17. This comes after a week of moderate air quality.
On Tuesday, the city will witness warm weather with strong surface winds during the day.
The minimum temperature will hover around 12 degrees Celsius while the maximum could go up to 27 degrees Celsius.
