Delhi: Three men carrying 160 kg cannabis arrested
Delhi Police has arrested three men from Anand Vihar ISBT, who were carrying 160 kg of cannabis to supply it to drug peddlers in the national capital. Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Alok Kumar said there was information that several gangs are involved in procuring cannabis from Andhra Pradesh and Odisha and supplying it to drug peddlers in Delhi. Delhi Police worked on tip off to arrest accused
On March 31, Delhi Police's crime branch received information that some men would be coming to supply contraband to Delhi in a white car taking the Yamuna Expressway. A car was intercepted near Anand Vihar, ISBT and three persons, Salman, Saddam and Koti Ottaya were nabbed, said Kumar, adding 16 parcels containing 160 kg cannabis wrapped in newspapers were seized from them.
