Delhi Outcome Budget: 22,706 challans issued for non-possession of PUCCs
Over 22,700 challans were issued by authorities to vehicular commuters on roads for not possessing Pollution Under Control Certificates (PUCCs), the Delhi Government said in its first Outcome Budget tabled in the Assembly today. This was among the major critical indicators enunciated by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia while presenting it in the House during the ongoing session. Here are more details.
Outcome Budget divided into two parts
Sisodia said the Outcome Budget breaks down the performance of each major scheme and program of Delhi Government into two kinds of indicators: output indicators and outcome indicators. The output indicators are the services and infrastructure that a department is supposed to provide, and outcome indicators explained how people benefited from them. The Outcome Budget is for the current fiscal, referring till December 2017.
