The caption to the video shared by Street Dogs of Bombay said, "What kind of insensitive people do we have in this society? This man ran over this old dog and was not ready to acknowledge his mistake."
The eyewitness added that the man casually said, "If the dog is dead toh main kya karoon," after hitting the animal.
The dog, unfortunately, died within minutes despite efforts.

The video also shows a heated argument between the man and the woman, who was trying to pull the injured dog from under his car.
When asked if he was blind for not seeing the dog, he rudely replied, "Haan andha hoon. Toh kya hua? Gaadi kitni slow chalaa raha thaa main."
When told his careless behavior caused the dog's death, he dismissively said, "Main kya kar sakta hoon," before driving off.

The incident has been widely condemned by social media users. Many have sought accountability for the man's actions; one user claimed he was Sushanta Mohanty, allegedly the Director of Amazon Infra Trade.
"Request everyone to kindly report him on LinkedIn," said one. TV actress Tinaa Dattaa also reacted to the viral video, saying, "I would have broken the windshield."
