Enforcement plan for firecracker ban underway
Environment Minister Gopal Rai announced that an action plan is being developed to ensure strict enforcement of the ban. This plan will involve collaboration between the Delhi Police, Delhi Pollution Control Committee, and Revenue Department. "The ban on the production, storage, sale, and use of firecrackers will remain in force till January 1, 2025," Rai said.
