69-year-old Delhi builder allegedly commits suicide to avoid getting handcuffed
What's the story
A 69-year-old Delhi builder allegedly jumped to his death from the terrace of his Vasant Vihar house, to avoid a police team that had come to interrogate him regarding a cheating case lodged against him.
A two page hand-written suicide note was recovered from him that said about few people pressurizing him to give them their money.
His family however alleged foul play.
Details
While cops were questioning his kin, he leaped from terrace
A case against Virender Dhingra was lodged at CR Park police station, upon which Saket court issued a non-bailable warrant against him last year.
While cops were questioning his family members regarding that in his house, Dhingra rushed to the fourth floor terrace and leaped to his death.
He was rushed to a nearby private hospital, where he died of severe multiple injuries.

However, his son Sanjeev alleged that few police officers ran behind Dhingra and tried to catch him, due to which he panicked and took the extreme step.
Police dismissed it and said the case is being probed from all the angles, including the handwriting in the suicide note.
DCP (southwest) Milind Dumbere added a high-level panel has been formed for this case.
